Pre-Heaters
In the last years ABH Thermo expanded its array of products and is now your partner for preheaters, too.
This picture shows a high-pressure-pre-heater, built for the VA-Stahl in Linz. It performs at temperatures up to 500°C and pressures up to 270bar.
The used materials are also not every day used.
The shell of this Pre-Heater was made of 16 Mo 3. Tube-sheet and water-chamber were made of 1.6368 (WB36).
Even the attaching parts on this heat-exchanger are innovative. The tracks to remove the chamber-cover made it possible to open and close the water-chamber for a revision with only ONE worker, although the cover weights about 2000kg.
